On the day of the event, we welcomed Mr. Nagif from Peru as a guest, and worked with four first-year students of a part time class on the “Mind Map” and “Lifeline Chart”, and finally asked him about his personal story.

The high school students were a bit nervous at first, as it was their first time meeting glolab members and Nagif, but they seemed to relax as they shared their favorite things with each other through the Mind Map. In the “Lifeline Chart,” the participants looked back on their memorable experiences over the past five years to deepen their mutual understanding. In the final part of the session, Mr. Nagif’s personal story, he reaffirmed the importance of learning Japanese in order to live in Japanese society. Everyone commented, “I’ll try harder to practice Kanji now! I will try harder to practice Kanji!”
